DE_PARABOL by Kubata
"Some of you may recall de_parabol in the "Under Construction" section months ago. Back then it definitely was under construction; there was little visual or functional detail, no 3D skybox, the exterior was extremely under-developed and the map had barely been optimized. I'm proud to present what I'd consider "A final version" (or first if a major bug is found)
FIXED physics objects to interact with player more fluidly (Debris, physics_multiplayer)
FIXED glass in fire extinguisher casing to sometimes collapse for no reason.
FIXED shadow of fire extinguisher prop showing through the casing brush.
FIXED env_glow for indoor garage doors.
FIXED ladder behavior in ct spawn.
FIXED *many clipping errors throughout the map.
FIXED being able to get stuck inside a rock in the t spawn.
FIXED being able to get outside the boundaries of the map through model exploitation.
FIXED indoor water texture not displaying with proper consistency (is now darker and more fluid).
FIXED the rocks in the t spawn appearing very dark due to a lighting error.
FIXED some of the cubemaps.
FIXED the sounds so that they now play louder and through every round.
FIXED a major framerate issue.
*As far as the clipping goes, I tried my best and scanned the map several times, there still might be a few corners that the player will get caught in.
CHANGED Skybox.
CHANGED blending consistency of outdoor sand area.
CHANGED surface prop of outdoor area to "sand"
CHANGED displacements of outdoor sand area.
CHANGED average lightmap scale to 8.
CHANGED many decals and overlays so they display properly.
CHANGED many of the ropes so that they did not appear as if to come from nowhere.
CHANGED spotlights in the ct spawn.
CHANGED the pipe covering in bombsite A so it has more detail, and the player cannot see through it.
CHANGED an AC Unit outside in the t spawn so it is now an electric transformer, as opposed to simply another AC Unit.
CHANGED many textures.
REMOVED many overlays and decals which were not needed.
REMOVED many models and brushes which were not needed.
ADDED 3D skybox.
ADDED much more detail in the exterior section of the map, t spawn, and bombsite B.
ADDED building detail to the interior entrance from the left side of t spawn.
ADDED smokestack effects for grates and ducts.
ADDED small physics props for greater effect when explosions go off.
ADDED a few phys_box ceiling tiles in ct spawn.
ADDED woodwork in a tunnel in ct spawn.
ADDED many subtle pipes, faucets, and valves throughout the interior section.
ADDED several electrical boxes.
ADDED a normal to the rock texture in the exterior section.
ADDED normals and envmaps to Yellow/Green brushes in CT spawn.
ADDED many more smoothing groups for brushes.
ADDED steam jets in ct spawn.
ADDED a spark for the transformer in t spawn.
ADDED many additional sounds.
ADDED Soundscapes."
