DOD_AUBERCY by pedroleum
"hello dodders!
i've been up to some changes on my map dod_aubercy, which is now available as version b5.
after playing some hours on the map with a lot of people, i've found quite a few things disturbing (of course it was also fun to play!). some where known before, some came in new, so i did some changes to the map, visually and gameplay wise. i hope you like them
changelist:
- improved fps
- reworked allied sidepath in favour of the allies
- 1 min of time is now beeing added on each objective (instead of 2 mins on each cannon)
- added teamwalls, mainly to prevent axis from getting to close to the allies spawn
- added some fog and distance clipping (to save some fps)
- skybox saw some changes
- minefield is gone in favour of a less confusing route to take
- minimap simplified
- interiours have been decorated
- middle cap slightly moved towards allied building (so axis camp a little less ;-)
- eliminated some camping spots in favour of a more fluid gamplay
- recompiled the hedge models so the lighting on em isn't as fuxxed up anymore
- fixed a lot of issues splatt found (thanks!!)"
