"As the infection spread many large scale evacuations were made to temporary outposts where aircraft would fly the survivors out of the area.

This is one of those military outposts which was unfortunately overrun by the virus that one of the passengers abode the convoy had but hadn't shown the symptoms at the time of the pickup.

It wasn't long before the whole convoy was infected and the outpost was overrun."
