Submerge Sin Arena Mode Map by Senast
"This is basicly a map for Sin Episodes: Emergence. *Behind this map:*
Hi, this map I based on the fact that there are so
little amount of arena mode maps out there and wanted
people to know that arena mapping is fun way. It's very
similar to deathmatch mapping, very basic.
I took some time to develope this map as it went from
pre-production all the way to post-production. I made
the map to detailed and would get alot of crashes near
mid-way through the map. I pushed the engine build that
Sin: Emergence runs on to some of its limits, especially
at the entities limit. Once it was so high I couldn't throw
a grenade without a crash. So my next half I spent mostly
getting rid of some entities that wasn't a requirement. I
also fine tune the bits hear and there. Adding the sea weed
to the outside (idea by lgCHICKEN, tnx). This is my first
map that I have released, though I have been mapping for
about two and a half years I have never come to finish a map
that I am truely proud of. This map is the first that I hope
to release. I am still thinking about some new ideas, but it
not as easy as one think.
The map is based underwater. The map take place in the lounge
of a scientific facility. It took some time to get the outside
to look like water, I wanted to add some sort of refraction to
the windows for the watery effect, but it proof to difficult
for me to do so I ended with just the clear glass. I might also
get around and add some fish, but not sure how I going to go about
that, because I want something similar to CS:S Miltia fish, but
on a larger scale and I can't add to many entities. The map took
me about a month to get it where it is. I work on it for two weeks
then took a break for about three weeks, I had some other stuff to
do, and returned to mapping as soon as possible. I mapped straight
for another week and finished it up for this release yesterday.
Once Ritual release the Multiplayer portion of Sin: Episodes(If they
ever going to do it) I will convert this map to be compatible with it.

The original sand texture was created by him which I just created a normal map for.

My last thanks go to Raminator for directing me to certain places, without him even knowing it, he helped me tremendously with this map."
